چکیده
Treatment of textile wastewater with domestic as co-substrate was investigated in this study. Combined and at different mixing ratios (100:0, 80:20, 60:40) treated under anaerobic reactor. The influence residence time, fraction initial pH were determined view COD color removal. Response Surface methodology (RSM) Box–Behnken design (BBD) employed to determine conditions for higher simultaneous removal color. highest satisfied 8.6, time 9 days while ratio 77:23. efficiencies realized 70% 72% respectively. In general, longer favored Furthermore, range 0.65 – 0.8 simultaneously high Therefore, co-digestion specific is a novel finding that can be further developed treating wastewaters. Moreover, technology promising approach enhance biological treatment wastewater.

Anaerobic reactor design concepts for the treatment of domestic wastewater
Since the earlier anaerobic treatment systems, the design concepts were improved from classic reactors like septic tanks and anaerobic ponds, to modern high rate reactor configurations like anaerobic filters, UASB, EGSB, fixed film fluidized bed and expanded bed reactors, and others. In this paper, anaerobic reactors are evaluated considering the historical evolution and types of wastewaters. T...
متن کاملComparison of Naturally Prepared Coagulants for Removal of Cod and Color from Textile Wastewater
The wastewater generated by the textile industry is rated as the most polluting among all industrial sectors considering both volumes discharged and effluent composition. Present investigation intended for COD and color removal from textile wastewater using naturally prepared coagulants i.e. Surjana Seed Powder (SSP), Maize Seed Powder (MSP) and Chitosan. Effect of coagulant dose, flocculation ...

متن کاملCoupled Anaerobic Baffled Reactor (ABR)/Activated Sludge Treatment of Synthetic Wastewater with High Concentration of Sulfate and COD
A synthetic wastewater with high concentration of sulfate and COD was treated in anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR) coupled with an activated sludge. The work was accomplished in two phases. In the first phase, the concentration of sulfate was kept constant at 500mg/l, but COD concentration was increased from (3000mg/l to 6000mg/l), consequently, COD and sulfate removal in ABR reached to 80% and 9...
